Start with the question

Nicotinamide riboside is a precursor used to make NAD+, a molecule involved in metabolism. Raising NAD-related biomarkers does not by itself establish healthier aging or longer life. NAD+ helps cells transfer energy and supports other cellular reactions. NR can supply material for making NAD+. More of a marker is not automatically a meaningful health benefit.
